- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 small bunch parsley minced
- 4 tbsps butter melted
- 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsps Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon honey
To make the garlic butter
In a small heat-safe bowl, mix together minced garlic, minced parsley, butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt and honey until well combined. Microwave in 30 second intervals until the butter has melted and set aside.
To prep the ham and cheese sliders
Preheat your oven to 350F.
Without separating the rolls, slice each pack of King's Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally using a large serrated knife. Keep the top and bottom halves intact as two separate pieces.
To assemble the sliders
Place the bottom half of the King's Hawaiian rolls on a cutting board. Layer the sliced ham evenly across the bottoms, followed by the swiss cheese. Next, place the top half of the King's Hawaiian rolls on top of the swiss cheese.
Using a serrated knife, slice the King's Hawaiian rolls into sliders, following the perforated lines.
Place the sliders into a non-stick baking dish and brush the tops and sides of the sliders with the garlic butter.
- Assemble the sliders prior to cutting them. This will make both assembling and serving easier! Cutting them after assembling but prior to baking ensures everyone can grab them as they please when it comes out of the oven. This means you can bake them right before guests arrive and there's no fuss having to handle and cut them when they're hot!
- Brush the garlic butter generously. This will keep the sliders moist and prevent them from drying out.
- Cover the sliders with foil initially to melt the cheese, without burning the sliders.
